The Difference Between Republicans and Democrats | This Can't Be Happening!

INDEPENDENT NOW,
SOLIDARITY FOREVER ...
WHY JOIN THE 40% SOLUTION?
I can't say enough to encourage you to check out the latest from Dave Lindorff.

Lindorff and a growing number of people in this country are quitting the big political machines in absolute disgust at the cronyism, corruption and power madness the two parties' elites have displayed in the last couple decades. War, war, and still more war for empire and endless funding for more wars - that is the bloody mission for those in our business class palaces. I have never joined either of these gangs of millionaires running this country. Over ten years ago after a twenty year stint of hating the undemocratic process of "elections" in this country when I refused to vote in any elections, I reluctantly registered to vote in Jefferson country, Kansas. Thirty years out in the "hastings" was long enough. I felt like an overworked plow horse coming into the barn that day ready to buck off the yoke and reins, spit out the bridle and kick my crazy driver.

My decision to register as an "independent" was based on one overwhelming concern, that local county and village election tallies matter. Little did I know that by registering as an "independent" a thoroughly enjoyable act, made less painful by the fact that my neighbor a couple miles down the road was the county clerk, I was joining a new majority of voters.

She and her staff down at the Jefferson county courthouse were friendly enough to understand that in my case, I was walking in from the cold wilderness. No, not my wintery farmhouse more than eight miles away, but from the alienated political wilderness of radical politics. Another story for another time...

Suffice it to say that since that time the ranks of "independents" have swelled.

Today, over 40 per cent of the total registered voters are independent, out numbering both of the Democrats and Republicans running this rigged show between two wings of the "War is Good for Business" mafias.

Since registering that day down at the courthouse many local people and not a few Republican relatives have persistently reminded, teased me really, with the reality that little mafias exist on the local level and exist in both political parties. Nevertheless, I, being of the mind of a plow horse consider the local a more practical political move to take on a crime boss bully in his own neighborhood than in DC.

Easier to knock down, no need for brass knuckles and one derives satisfaction from watching them fall down. Local political bullies are a pretty chicken shit lot, preferring gossip to actual public debates. Usually once you pull out the cudgel and the brass knuckles of public debate, they cower like a school yard bully and resort to innuendo and terror at night while their opposition is sleeping.

Why join the forty per cent solution? Consider that it is better to keep the party bosses in the dark, let them know you are leaving their syndicate and why, but leave it we must. Tell them you are leaving and "no" to anymore donations and "no" we're not committing to voting for their candidates.

Take the time to follow the link above in the first sentence, it will take you to a recent radio interview out on the east coast with Dave.

The demagogic, wealthy warmongers running this country and their millionaire mouthpieces in the mainstream media are weakest when they cannot predict our numbers. Become part of the 40% (and growing) solution, keep those big shots in the county and the national machines, in the dark - like potatoes in the root cellar.

Let me know by email or call in to the Blue Barn radio show 646-716-8652 this Saturday 5 - 6pm and go independent!

Then consider the arguments Lindorff raises in his latest essay "The Difference Between Republicans and Democrats"
