Brian Kemp Sued by Palast, Georgia Rights Group on Friday Experts find Sec of State wrongly purged 340,134 Voters By GregPalast.com
This past Friday, October 19, journalist Greg Palast and the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda served a federal lawsuit on Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp for violation of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.
Experts engaged by The Palast Investigative Fund found the Georgia Republican purged 340,134 voters based on false information that they had moved from their registration address. The suit will force Kemp to open his files to reveal how he removed these voters in his run-up to his campaign for Governor of the State against Democrat Stacey Abrams.
The full complaint and the expert's findings are linked below. For further details watch Palast's report on Democracy Now! on Tuesday.
