George Kenney Podcast: "Interview with Dr. John Tirman on the Crisis in Crimea" @ Electric Politics

Dear Michael,

It's difficult to say whether the Crimean Crisis will get a lot worse but it's not unreasonable to think it won't get much better. That's because the U.S. is refighting some other conflict instead of being willing to have a realistic dialogue with the Russians. Not to mention the neoconservatives and the neoliberals who are piling on. Making it all the worse is that so few Americans are willing, or able, to think about what's happening objectively. So I feel lucky that I noticed a couple of tweets by MIT's Dr. John Tirman regarding Crimea, and that I was able to talk with him. He brings a very layered and thoughtful analysis to bear.

As always, if you like the show please forward the link.

Thanks very much for listening!

Best,

g.
