"Monday Night Blues" 18 June 2012 @ Radio Free Kanasas

Pertinent news programs provided from across the worldwide net, music provided by regional musicians, old time radio tunes from the Internet Archive and public domain.

Tonight's line-up:

Free Speech Radio News, 30 min., the days of June are passing by quickly and the fundraiser at FSRN has reached a critical point, the possible closure of this radio news organization.  It operates without brick and mortar and features instead a worldwide network of grassroot reporters armed with digital tape recorders and telephones.  I have included a special message from back-up anchor Danny Wood making a last minute appeal on You Tube.

You can make a tax-deductible donation, especially if you have enough to be very generous by check or money order at: Free Speech Radio News, Dept. LA 23923, Pasadena, Ca. 91185-3295.

Next a sampling of weekly podcasts worth hooking up to on a regular basis.  Do not expect us to carry each or even the most current webcast, that's what going to their web sites links are all about! Visit them and tell them when signing up for anything, RFK turned you on to them.  Thank you.

Amanda Marcotte's RH Reality Check episode #238 which she posted June 17, 2012.

Short readings from my sources include:

Here's a link for those that can't wait.  Sam Pizzigati's "Too Much Online" sign up, it's free and very very informative on the super-rich.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Go to "Open letters to KSBHA board members" explore the whole page, but download "Open letters to KSBHA" then scroll to the bottom of the last letter, for a little of my humor in speaking truth to power.
