Tell ALEC Companies to Stand Down! @ PR Watch

The campaign is still underway!

 Take Action on ALEC Today!
Last week, we announced that Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Kraft Foods have dumped ALEC. Now a stampede seems to be underway! Since then, Intuit, McDonald's, Wendy's, the Arizona Public Service Company and Mars Candy (maker of Skittles) have announced that they are not renewing their ALEC memberships, bringing the total to eight. Even the Gates Foundation announced that it won't give ALEC any more grants.

What corporation will be number nine?

This week, CMD and partner organizations urged State Farm, Johnson & Johnson and AT&T to stop funding ALEC. Take part by sending a message to ALEC corporate leaders. Click below or call them directly to ask them to drop their membership in ALEC and issue a public statement to that effect.
