Tim Carpenter: "Ks. GOP: Dem is bad medicine" - The Topeka Capital Journal

Always be wary of taking the advice of people who tell others what you "need" to do. [Excerpt] ...

Bob Beatty, a Washburn University political science professor, said early exchanges between the Brownback and Wiggans campaigns have done more to highlight Wiggans' weaknesses than tout advantages of his candidacy.

"If Wiggans is in this race for good, he needs to ramp it up," Beatty said. "The upshot is they needed to start yesterday. They need a candidate in every town, doing news conferences, maybe putting some ads out there, campaigning 13 hours a day."

Brownback has been a fixture in Kansas politics for 15 years, while few people know much about Wiggans. ... Read it all, here.

The Brownback media machine is warming up the sewage machines in the media. No mention of arranging arms shipments to Uganda dictators, "born again" governments getting ready to execute homosexuals and their relatives, deficit funding of foreign wars for energy resources involving the deaths of hundreds of thousands ... lying to Americans and Kansans about internationally illegal wars of aggression and occupation abroad. Nothing, just drown out any truth to power with squealing cries of immoral business ethics. Oh yeah, Sen. Brownback is going to bring something new to Kansas. LMAO!
