Pay Up or Risk Long Battle, Obama Told - CommonDreams.org
The UK's Guardian had a reporter look under the political rock in Philadelphia, Pa and found a whole bunch of squigly little critters hiding there. Nothing illegal here, just some nasties from the old days - machine politics. Before Waco, Tx there was Move On - Philadelphia! Ewen MacAskill writes: [Excerpt] "In an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer last week, Campbell defended the practice of “street money”, saying: “We are a machine town.” She added that there was nothing dirty about it. “The committee people and the ward leaders have to buy lunch for hundreds of people, otherwise they won’t have good workers.
