Bageant's proletarian classic, "Deer Hunting with Jesus: Dispatches from America's Class War" receives quite a bit of attention at the author's web site. His readership write him letters with their observations from the world over. Their experiences and acid descriptions of the world and Joe's occasional response make for hilarious reading - even if you haven't read the book.
