Professor Juan Cole comments on Barzani refusing to meet Rice. News outlets, NPR and others, did report that Barzani refused to meet with Rice during her surprise visit to Northern Iraq post - Turkey bombardments of alleged PKK villages. It was disappointing that PBS NewsHour did not mention the Barzani boycott during their broadcast segment on this subject tonight. Read more
