Naomi Wolf on C-span 2 "After Words"

- A FINE COFFEE TABLE BOOKLET -
"The End of America: Letter of warning to a young patriot."

MAD LIBERAL'S NEW RENDITION

OF THE

"SHOCK DOCTRINE" HITS THE 'BURBS

I would rate this vid as safe for your Auntie, Grandma and a very good primer for the young mothers in the cul-de-sacs and the trailer parks who enjoy certain afternoon "women shows." Slip this booklet into your step-father's golf cart console as a delayed literary bomb.

Yes, another Naomi, but not "Klein", instead it's "Wolf" and this one outlines during this hour length video program ten points in her book that describe the "loss of democracy." Good, even from a pretty bourgeois take-off pad she fires off quite a few historical parellels and it is pretty amusing watching her puff-up about being on "the list" as in "no-fly" while her interviewer probes about Wolf's expressions of U. S. bad "karma" and "tunnel vision."

He hints it might be "calling out 'Wolf!'"

Naomi Wolf cares.

Interruptions, tsk-tsk-tsking and plenty of stuttering, stammering, talking over one another and still such touching sentiments and sensitivity, almost some weird silver serving tray kind of class solidarity to view. I laughed my ass off at the "shame" and "horrified" indignance described by Wolf of her "friends" possibly at Martha's Vineyards, of all places, and of course, jes' us little "ordinary Americans" -- dumb shits that we are, eh?

She speaks of a "closing society" and relates the recent firing of US attorneys to a "purge of the civil service" as practised in a totalitarian or fascist dictatorship. Pretty persuasive stuff from a classic coffee table liberal reporter. She obviously is pretty emotional about the Busheviks and their "red state" supporters in both business wings of the War Parties.
