The news story omitted that the "counter-protesters" called "A Gathering of Eagles" repeatedly described the anti-war contingents as "degenerates," "miscreants", and "moonbats." Chris Hill listed as an organizer for the event, spoke before C-Span cameras on a broadcast of the event stating that he was ready to meet the anti-war protesters parade and "kick ass." Other speakers several times suggested that protesters should be expelled by force from the United States.
