In This Moment: In search of a political revolution

WE HAVE FED YOU FOR A THOUSAND YEARS,
AND BUILT YOUR TEMPLES OF WOE, LIKE GHOSTS WE'VE STEERED YOUR SHIP ...
OUR DEBT IS PAID IN BLOOD.
Linked above is a very interesting post by a pretty steady hand writing from Lawrence, Ks. It's spiritual approach reveals some of the intrigue involved finding "the muse" within us all; even among conservatives who use isolationism, both spiritually and "on the ground" to procreate more and more Reaction. Shared by liberals who by their silence and "me-first" values support neoliberal interventionism throughout the world.
This split has for far too long still dried Lawrence, Ks. which remains a very necessary and welcome spiritual and intellectual oasis in the Bible driven, intellectually starved State of Kansas. Even while this polemic is posted the most severe attack on women in Kansas is developing, as it has been boiling under the surface since 1973 when Bob Dole used the word "abortion" to defeat then Congressman Dr. Bill Roy at the Kansas State fair in 1973's lynch-mob political campaign. Even as thousands of the poorest of women among us are right now being forced into unwanted pregnancies, marriages and domestic abuse. Even as the most important city of Lawrence slides pell mell into massive gentrification by large moneyed Bushevik developers. Even as the most liberal of voices never provide any critical insight into how to fight the wealth-driven, infinite growth, ever socially upward lie that is the United States. I encourage readers to read this post here and feel free to comment. For my part, and I speak for others, the unconditional support of oppressed women and the poor is the fundamental and fighting position and non-negotiable, even as the "spiritual" driven ones, both right and left, obsess on where the "journey" goes. We have our civil liberties, for now, so use them to teach others practical ways "to scale the heights."

And now hand me that pair of pliers...
