Bill Moyers Journal . TOUGH TALK ABOUT IMPEACHMENT.

- SUNDAY MORNING STAKEOUT -
KANSANS, WILL YOU LISTEN NOW?
STOP SUPPORTING THE BUSH REGIME!
CLEAN OUT ALL THE GOVERNMENT HOUSES!

If you missed Moyer's stunning discussion last Friday evening on his PBS program here is a chance to watch it on-line. Since January 1, 2007 with Flyer issue #57 we have joined, supported and aided the grassroots impeachment movement, despite opposition from some of our most important friends and readers. Our decision has since caused quite a bit of hardship for us, both politically and as Kansas citizens. We feel vindicated and liberated with the broadcast of this national news broadcast. We cherish this country's civil liberties, our human rights guaranteed in the constitution's "Bill of Rights" more than any partisan loyalty to any elected official. It is obvious in Kansas that the government has been usurped and debased by partisan and religiously bigoted politics, just look at the Kansas office of the Attorney General in the last few years. We can learn much from Moyer's program linked at the top of this post.

Here you can watch the arguments against a "lawless" regime as portrayed in the aftermath of the outrageous commutation of Scooter Libby's prison sentence. Watch Bruce Fein, the man who wrote the first Article of Impeachment of Bill Clinton and John Nichols author of "The Cure of Impeachment" give viewers some tough talk about impeaching Bush/Cheney for "the behavior of a King" even in the face of the "invertebrates" in congress.

Citizens, stop being a "childish subject" to these leaders at the federal, state or local level of government. They all serve, to quip the much abused phrase of the oppressive and reactionary Busheviks among us, "at our pleasure." If we hear another Bush office monkey use the words, "at the pleasure of the president" we're going to vomit on our televisions. Rather than the pleasure of the King, or his state government counterparts here in Kansas, these crooked bastards have got to learn it is at our "pleasure." We elect them and we can throw them out, at every level of government, from the White House to the county courthouses. We're tired of political leaders treating us as child-like "subjects" to their rules.

As the national housecleaning starts, Kansans should be gearing up for similar measures against governments gone wild by throwing similar political hacks and abusive elected officials in Topeka and Washington DC out of their offices.
