Time Magazine once again slipping up with using the term "ambushed" in the headline, tugging at the old stretched-out heart strings of the Busheviks. Slipping, as in since the information went out before they could tell the troops the bad news about extensions, it was therefore, wrong.
Gates states, "And I can't tell you how angry it makes many of us that one individual would create potentially so much hardship not only for our servicemen and -women, but their families, by letting them read about something like this in the newspapers."
It would have been different if Big Daddy running the unit told them the bad news. The message is the same nonetheless, a bigger troop escalation with endless deployments, this is certainly more than a "surge." The troops surely are livid and considering mutiny. Hell-driven madness for sure ... and to think just eighteen more months and counting to turn this into a regional wide war and start universal military conscription.
Who gives a shit what Gates thinks? He drank the kool-aid and joined the Boy King's cabal for endless energy wars. Many paranoid nuts are chanting for more guns and intercoms across the country's colleges. Turn the country over to Blackwater and launch the missiles!
