Record deficit spending and social cuts proposed in new Bush budget.

The Bush regime submits a record $2.9 Trillion public budget; including the largest military budget in history - and $260 billion to pay for the interest on the deficit of the last year. Social spending on Medicaid and education will be squeezed or cut - making room for a record $700 billion for funding the failing empire's "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile tax cuts that have already made the top 1% owning more than all the property combined of the bottom 90% in the U. S. - permanent. Al Jazeera English - Americas
