Here is yet another example of the screwed up priorities of those we Kansans elect to public office at the federal level. All of them whining, getting on their poor little knees to the Pentagon's bullshit "experts" begging for more money and military - the better to rob our children of any future.
3000 operational multi-warhead nuclear ICBM missiles isn't enough to defend us abroad. Gut the country of our armed forces for defense of our borders and launch pre-emptive wars for oil. What a crock of wasteful shit these people are shoveling to us.
A recent hushed fact heard from the confusing blitz of congressional hearings: 40% of all operational vehicles, tanks etc. have been stationed [and ruined] in Iraq. That is worldwide, including all those hundreds of bases abroad that we pay for - 737 according to Chalmers Johnson's book "The Sorrows of Empire."
It would take one short month to withdraw all our military forces from Iraq and these shills are dragging their feet, sucking cash - grinning at us like the taxpaying fools we are - every goddamn village in this country should be going "energy independent" and learning to live good with less. Instead the rotten bastards in DC are stalling and foot dragging - waiting for the Big Push - an aerial bombardment of Iran, which will push the country economically over the edge and cause all kinds of "emergency" measures to be called on us to "sacrifice" for their phony "war."
Give them toys, watch them break, buy them more - spoiled brats!
