Courts and juries in England, Ireland and Germany are allowing "direct action" protesters who damage military equipment to "walk away from dock" i. e. the American equivalent of jury nullification.
Several legal precedents may be in the making for establishing the invasion and occupation of Iraq as an international war crime.
