This just goes to show that Ambrose Bierce was off the mark after all:  evidently war is not God's way of teaching Americans geography! 

 

(Or perhaps it's just proof that God is not omnipotent after all:  there are some things after all that even He can't do [like teach Americans democracy or a ‘hard’ science like cartography, even via war].)
