Ken is a Viet Nam Veteran and an avowed opponent to the war in Iraq. He suffers from the effects of Agent Orange and graduated from nearby Lawrence, Ks. University of Kansas. He and his wife, Sharon entertain a large early morning crowd of local farmers and villagers nearly every day around the horse shoe coffee bar. He once said,"Variety and risk is the spice of life." He had to be our main and first advertiser in the first of over 40 issues we have published. Nortonville's Mayor Herman Ackmann has declared his intention to shut down The Country Inn Cafe, but we have other designs. Check in on us regularly and follow the coming weeks as we cover the rough and ready politics before the village election this coming first Tuesday in April!
