I thought this was a fitting demonstration of U. S. imperialism to remind readers of all the great things ruling class foreign policy has done to my fellow citizens in Kansas who seem to suffer from amnesia. Oops! they forgot Chile in 1971, Dominican Republic in '66, British Guyana through the 80s, and a few others. Geuss they had only enough props for the parade.
